Pug Fest is a celebration of the pug held on an annual basis. Pug Hugs, Inc. d/b/a Milwaukee Pug Fest is a Wisconsin non-profit
corporation with Federal tax exempt status under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and also has State sales tax
exemption status. We are an all volunteer group dedicated to fund raising (and FUN raising) for pug rescue and to raise
awareness of responsible breeding practices and the plight of pugs kept solely for breeding in puppy mills and by backyard breeders.
It is an unfortunate fact that the most ill pugs in rescue seem to come from irresponsible breeders who don't take care of their

A Fundraiser to Benefit Pug Rescue

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- 11:45pm – Blessing of the Pugs by Brother Mark
- 12:15pm – Costume Contest
- Noon – 2:00pm – Roving Bluegrass Band performs
- 1:15pm – Talent Contest
- 1:45pm – Parade of Rescue Pugs
- 2:15pm – Close of Silent Auction
- 2:30pm – Pug Races by Petco (see note below)
- 3:00pm – “Safar” Belly Dancing Troupe performs
NOTE: Registration for the Pug Races will take place on a first come, first served basis at the PETCO table from 1:45pm to 2:20pm for a race time of 2:30pm.
SERVICES OFFERED AT PUGFEST 2008:
Micro Chipping
Schering Plough/Home Again LLC micro chipping will be available at Pugfest.
Chipping done by a Vet Tech and enrollment into the Home Again Data Base will be $30.00 total. Visit their website, www.homeagain.com to learn more.
ONLY check or credit card accepted in the amount of $15.00 for enrollment into the Home Again database ( Visa, MC or Discover accepted) and a separate
payment of $15.00 will go to Pug Rescue (check or cash only).
If you are interested in getting your Pug microchipped, email us at rick@milwaukeepugfest.com so that we will have enough microchips available.
Dr. Ron Beatty of “My Pet’s Vet in Mequon (www.mypetsvetmequon.com)” will be performing the microchipping and in addition will answer pet questions in exchange for a donations to Pug Rescue. This is Dr. Beatty’s third year volunteering his services at Pug Fest.
Pet Photos
Slider Photo will again be onsite taking pictures of your precious Puggies! Sitting is done on a first come, first served basis. Visit www.sliderphoto.com for a sampling
of Pet photos. Slider will be set up inside the lobby along the wall. Pictures will be taken in the meeting room.
Pug Nail Trimming
Madra Professional Pet Styling will again be onsite to trim your Pug's nails for a nominal charge. They also will have a display of products and services offered.
